Confluence is corporate Wiki used by over 4,000 organisations in more than 75 countries around the globe - across Fortune 1000, public enterprise, science and technology sectors.
"Confluence immediately lowered the entry level of technical expertise - allowing more people to use a knowledge management system. Any new tool requires some degree of training and guidance before staff catch on, but Confluence was so easy and intuitive that it took off in no time. It has been a great relief using Confluence; to get information in and out of our company system so quickly." - Paul Rene Jorgensen of Telenor
"We already have an email mailing list, etc, but we want something that lets us record info that can be changed and extended over time. A wiki, basically.
There are no reliable, easy to use, secured, and cheap Wiki servers that I`ve been able to locate, so I want to run my own. I`ve tried many other options, including SnipSnap, TikiWiki to name a couple, and none of them have all the bits I need. Some come close, but most fall down with either security or user-friendliness.
Confluence has both, and it also has Spaces, which happen to fit what I need perfectly (regular page names will work, but they get really long after a short while)." - David Peterson of Randombits
